Ball Jar Picture Frame Pink Necklace Thrift Store Finds

Ball Jar, Picture Frame, Pink Necklace Thrift Store Finds.

Hello, and Welcome to Thrift Store Finds with LilacsNDreams!:) Glad to have you here, and that you were able to stop on by.

As I have already mentioned, I have done a little bit of thrifting, but have not been finding a whole lot lately. Weather, seasons changing, and just the mood of shopping lately I have not found much. Soooo, instead of being down about that I spent most of last week...when it was nicer out with sun and temperatures.....in the garage doing some spray painting with items I did find thrifting, and are going to reuse, repurpose, upcycle them, and etc.

During the painting I did find just a few pieces. I found a Ball Jar with that worn tarnished lid:) In the jar there were red colored wooden beads....Hmmm....got some ideas as soon as I seen this. I LOVE Ball jars, but with the holidays the wooden beads will come in handy too. Along with this find I did get a white picture frame with a lilac colored flower in 2 of the corners. Great condition, and had to have it! I found one just like this about 2? years ago, and it is sitting on an end table in the living room with a wedding picture of Me with my Grandmother. Picture was done outside....where we were married, and fits good with the frame. So, this is another identical frame I can put another precious picture with:) I also found a soft pink pearl necklace with 1 pearl earring. Yeah, it was missing 1 earring, but got it anyway. I can find something to do with this yummy pink, couldn't you? Lastly, I got this other item that reminds me of a keyring. I got it because of the glitter stone in the center of it, and of course around the outer circular part of it too. Looks green, looks blue...I like it:)

Well folks, sorry, but this is all I got from a quick stop by the thrift store the other day. Thought I would share with you, and see how ya'll were doing yourselves:) In about 2 1/2 weeks I will be spending time on a "Girls Weekend" with a dear friend of mine who is across state, her mother, a friend of hers, and we are going to meet 1/2 way in the middle of the state. Checking out some flea markets to attend while we are there for the weekend, and any thrift stores, and being in the city like that....many possibilities. Am excited, and hope I can find some goodies I don't see much of around here:)

Thanks for visiting everyone, and know you are always welcome to visit. You are welcome to share anything that you would like too. Take care, and have a super week everyone!:)

Thrift Store Finds Wood Bowls, Glassware, Home Decor

Thrift Store Finds Wood Bowls, Glassware, Home Decor

Hello, and Welcome to Thrift Store Junkies page at LilacsNDreams! Glad to have you here, and happy you could come by too. WOW! I really have been gone from this page for a while, and I am so very sorry about that everyone. Life, busy, busy, family, and it all kind of adds up. Nothing serious, but just takes the Me time away:)

In between this long distance of not being here I have not really done a whole lot of thrifting either...which is sad. Either I have not had the time to stop, too tired by the time I find a place, or I have gone looking and just not finding anything of interest lately. I have done a little, but not as much as I normally do. The pictures I have shown here show different angles of some of the items I had gotten with one of my visits.

I had found 3 wooden bowls of different sizes.....should see what I have done with them! I had another wooden bowl at home here that is a bit smaller than the big one showing here, and have painted all 4 of them. Just finished off with the last of it tonight....not looking too bad.

Along with this search I had also gotten 2 pkgs of brads that could be used for scrapbooking or crafting with too. The pink ceramic light with the hearts was another piece. The top is missing for it, but I can compromise, and come up with something I am sure:) The rustic looking napkin/letter holder, a pink rose colored bowl that is by pfaltzgraff, a nice looking green salad plate, and a blue glass vase too. I did get a pearl like necklace that was blue too.

Sometimes finding little things can still be repurposed into some really great things too. Have to watch my Second Time Treasures page to see what gets done with some of the pieces I show from thrifiting.

Thanks again for visiting everyone, and I really do appreciate you stopping by to see me. Take care, and hope to see you again soon.
