Thrift Store Treasures Found From Past Week. Hello, and Welcome to LilacsNDreams Thrift Store Junkies! Glad to have you here:) Below you will see different pictures of things I found while Thrifting on Friday, and a few from earlier in the week too. Hmmm...what to do with them, what to do. I was thinking of keeping the lamp for me. Hey, gotta treat myself now and then too:) LOL:) I was also thinking of painting the wood to blend in more with our decor at home too. The other things....Well, got some ideas. The plates with the glass candle sticks are ready for attaching, going to make it a 3 piece set of matching. 2 of the glass candle holders are exactly alike, and the 3rd glass candle holder is like the 2 matching, but a bit shorter, and more rounded top.

Wood Lamp does work, has a bit of an older cord with it, but looks made too. Top is like a wooden bowl that can be found, and etc. 

Close up shows a milk white glass candle holder, glass candle holder, green glass bowl with tarnished base, the wire hanger in back of picture was on the small green glass bowl up front. 

2 hankies, 2 cloth napkins matching, green and white lace, a pink and white ribbon, and some knitting needles with 2 each for the colors I found. Got me some ideas for these:)

Actually I had found together 4 saucers with no cups, designed rim, silver line rim, and cute pink rose in center. 3 of them will be getting repurposed with the glass candle holders also in view here too.

Set of 3 will be sold together too. 2 glass candle holders are identical in height, 3rd glass candle holder is also identical to the other 2 except for the height...very slightly shorter, and has a more rounded top.

Welcome to LilacsNDreams Thrift Store Junkies blog! Glad to have you here, and hope all are doing well. 

Here it is another weekend, and where is the time going for us all? Today is going to be really hot, and humid, and not really in the mood for roaming around too much. I do have a friend who is going to the farmer's market to see all the crafts people are making, and offering. She is not sure if she will get any junking, or thrifting in today, but if I know her....she will try to do some if she can:)

I seen a couple of garage sales when out of town Friday, but they did not really look promising. So, I did not stop. Darn! By myself, and in the mood to do some thrifting, and looking. Oh well, maybe this next week it will happen as I will be that way again mid week, to end of week. Gotta be in the right mood to go looking too:)

Hope this finds everyone doing well, and staying cool with the heat wave we are getting here. Thrift Store Junkies Community Page

Hello, and Welcome to "Thrift Store Junkies" Community Page by LilacsNDreams!

After doing some work, checking around, questioning, and not being all computer literate this is what I have done. Blogger allows you to have up to 10 pages, but there is a catch....which I found out the hard way. Each of those pages are treated as a static page, you can only put one post on there, only way you get more is to keep editing the same post over, and over. THAT is Not what I wanted! In my research I did find you are allowed to have as many blogs as you want. So, in order for me to make this more of the community pages as I wanted, I have revised things a bit. I spent the day checking on blog names, and set up new blogs that link to this main blog so that I can make new posts. Not only new posts, but so that you can comment after each of them too. Whew!

So, let's get this party started...okay? This is to be a page for all of us to share about our thrifting stories, our finds, our comments, questions for other thrifters, and so on. There are more of us Thrift Store Junkies out there than we all realize. Hopefully this will be a place to gather, and do some things with, and most of all....Enjoy!:)
