Downsizing and Moving Sale of Vintage Collectibles Repurposed Upcycled

Downsizing and Moving Sale of Vintage, Collectibles, Repurposed, and Upcycled Treasures.

Welcome everyone to Thrift Store Junkies. WOW! I cannot believe I have over looked this page with my site too....urgh! I am soooo wanting to go out and hit the thrift stores, and in about a week they will have city wide garage sales here, and I still won't be able to go. Why? I am working really really hard on downsizing everything with us moving soon. Gonna be moving across a few states, so it is best to downsize my collections, and things for now. Besides, I get to the new place I will be in a new area, different thrift stores, different flea markets, and it could be fun all over again!:) So, till then I will try really really hard to keep ya'll updated here. I apologize ahead of time for the delays of coming by here, and please ask you to bear with me. Sooon, hopefully soon, I can start filling this up as I have intended, and better maintain this too.

Till then You can visit the different market places I am selling things at. I am offering vintage, collectibles, repurposed, upcycled, home decor, glassware, and some of my favorite things:) Any questions, just give me a holler. I can always invoice you separately for items you would like to purchase too. Thanks so much for stopping by, and visiting with Me! I really appreciate it everyone. Take care, and hope to see ya'll again soon. Till the next time.....Have fun Thrifting!:)

Artfire, Etsy, Ecrater, and Ebay are some places to visit LilacsNDreams at for some yummy treasures, and treats!:) Also, you can find clickable links to some of these places on the side bar, or just going straight to my Home page above:) Thanks again everyone, and see you soon.........

Glassware Blue Glass Green Glass Green Plate Thrifting

Glassware Blue Glass Green Glass Green Plate.

Welcome to Thrift Store Junkies with LilacsNDreams!:) Happy to have you here, and thanks for stopping by. As some of you may, or may not know, I have been home sick for over a week now. We think I might have come close to, or got a touch of walking pneumonia. This is especially depressing to me because this weekend, the first weekend of November a "Girls Weekend" had been planned with a few friends. All of us were traveling to a new area, gonna spend a couple of nights so we could roam the area for stores, thrifts, and fleas that had been targeted. I was soooo anxious, planning, getting travel supplies all ready, and then Boom! I get sick, thought I could shake it off, and over a week later I still have it. I have enough that it will keep me from traveling, and of course not wanting others to get sick from me either.

So, I wish them all well with their travels this weekend, be safe, enjoy, have soooo much fun, and hope they find many treasures too!:)

Ok, pictures you are seeing here was one of my last thrifts I had done. As we can see I kind of lean more towards glassware a bit. But, I like doing some of the same things when I repurpose with them, love colored glassware, and there are many possibilities with the pieces too!

So, have a look at the items showing, and let your imaginations spread with it too....have fun!:) I know I hope to soon:)

LilacsNDreams Thrift Store Junkies Blog Page

Thrift Store Finds by LilacsNDreams for Thrift Store Junkies. Hello everyone, and welcome to my LilacsNDreams Thrift Store Junkies Page! Glad to have you stopping by. Today you will see some pictures for things I had gotten on Friday when Thrifting at the Missions Store. I dropped off 2 bags of clothes for donations there, and then I walked through the store. I walked out with a box full of
glassware, candle holders, plates, glass canisters, glass cloches, some doilies, and a blue american greetings candle holder. As you can see couple of things did not get into the pictures. I apologize that some of the pictures might look like repeats. I was trying to get everything, show a little bit closer with some of them, and etc. With all of these pieces they have been washed, cleaned, dried. Now, tomorrow Monday I intend to work on pieces by sanding a bit, gluing, and hopefully painting too. Those are my intentions with some of the pieces, and if not all tomorrow, there is always Tuesday.
So, enjoy
the before pictures. As things get done pictures for the results will be shown on my Second Time Treasures Page for ya'll to view:)

Again, thanks so much for visiting, and hope you enjoyed all the pictures. Remember, always good to hear comments from everyone, and you are welcome to share here too. Take care till the next time everyone. Later........ Lilacs

Vintage Fenton Green Opalescent Collectible Glass Bowl

Hello, and Welcome to Thrift Store Junkies new blog/page for LilacsNDreams main blog. Hope ya'll have found me ok here, and know this is my way of adding pages to my main blog.

Well now, has anyone been thrifting lately? Have you had a chance to do any good junking, or treasure hunting? I myself have not had much of a chance so far. Been going through things here, donating some things, and trying to get things down in size here. I would like to make some changes with styles in our home, and have to "clean" house a little to do this.

It's a fight to pass the thrift stores along the way of travels. The times I have stopped to go digging a bit, I just cannot seem to find anything to catch my interest when visiting. I can't even find anything appealing at the time for me to repurpose, paint, upcycle, and etc. THAT is bad when my creative side does not work with me either:(

I would like to share this Vintage Fenton Green Opalescent Grape and Cable Collectible Glass Bowl I did get a few years ago with a private auction at a Good Will Store in my area. My pictures cannot do the piece justice. Looks like new, is marked Fenton on the bottom, comes from the 80s, and is a rare find. The color, most of this pattern was done with the carnival glass coloring which makes this find a little more rare too. I have researched it, researched, and had other knowledgable people with glassware, and Fenton help me too. Hard to find in the books. So, I contacted the Fenton Gift Shop....neat place to visit, and learn about things online too. They were able to confirm for me it was made with the Fenton mould, it is Fenton, and felt that maybe this piece might have been made for the gift shop. In that case not many were made like this, very few, and I felt it to be more of a rare find with this.

I have listed this gorgeous piece for sale in my shop at Artfire with my other vintage collectibles. Please, visit with my shop to see the pictures, and details with this piece.

Glad that you were able to stop here with Thrift Store Junkies, and know you are welcome to visit with us here anytime. Please, leave a comment, share with us here, and enjoy the visit. Hope to see you again!:) Take care everyone, and Happy Hunting!:)
